Hailing from Mexico City, nine piece band Sonido Gallo Negro released their instrumental cover of The B-52s‘ Planet Claire in 2021. Based on Duane Eddy’s 1959 guitar cover of Henry Mancini’s Peter Gunn Theme, Planet Claire was originally released by The B-52s in 1979 as the follow up to their hit single Rock Lobster.
