Stayin’ Alive – The Happy Mondays

Transpose John Travolta to…you know what? I was going to say something else, but maybe we should just leave it that: Transpose John Travolta.

Stayin’ Alive was originally recorded in 1977 by the Bee Gees for the soundtrack of Saturday Night Fever. The Happy Mondays’ cover of Stayin’ Alive appeared on their 1992 Judge Fudge EP.

A study of medical professionals in 2008 found that the quality of CPR was improved when the practitioner was thinking about the song Stayin’ Alive…as opposed to what, I don’t know, something by Napalm Death?
